If you are interested in recruiting a first-year HESA student for a Graduate Assistant position in your office for the 2013-2014 school year at our Graduate Assistant Recruitment Program (GARP), this message is for you!
This year, GARP is scheduled for February 17th-19th 2013. If you are interested in having your office participate in GARP and have not been contacted about doing so, please contact Stephanie Suarez via email at email@example.com.
For those participating in GARP, there are two employer meeting times scheduled. The purpose of these employer meetings are to distribute further information about GARP, answer any employer questions, and have some time for discussion regarding the process. After the informational part of the meeting, there will be training on JobMate which is the system that is used to select candidates and schedule interviews for GARP. It is extremely important that a staff member from each participating office is able to attend this meeting in order to gain information and training.
Though there are two meeting options scheduled, staff members need to only attend one. The options are:
• Thursday, January 17th at 11:00am in the Thomas Cooper Library Multimedia Classroom on Level 3
• Friday, January 18th at 3:00pm in the Thomas Cooper Library Multimedia Classroom on Level 3
If there is absolutely no way a member of your staff can attend either of these meetings please let me know as soon as possible.
