Have you ever thought about participating in one of the university’s largest philanthropy events?
Relay for Life 2013 will be April 19-20 from 7PM to 7AM on Blatt Fields. The event is open to students, faculty, staff and the public! Join us for a night of hope, fun and service.
To register for Relay for Life gather a group of people (friends, family, co-workers, student organizations, etc.) and go to www.relayforlife.org/uscsc to create a team. Once one person creates a team and signs up, the rest of the team members can select to join this team when they also register. Set your team and personal goal of how much you would like to raise in donations by April 19th and let the fun being! Once a team is registered, you will be contacted with more information about how to get the most from your Relay for Life experience.
Relay for Life is a great way to show students the importance that the faculty and staff of USC sees in service, and will allow you to “walk the walk” when it comes to giving back in the community. It is also a great bonding activity for your department to spend the night giving back to others. Faculty and staff are also allowed to join student organization teams if they desire. This year the theme for the night is party, and we look forward to celebrating life and the importance of giving to those in need.
If you have any questions about how to register a team, or general questions about Relay for Life, contact co-director Jen Hodshon at firstname.lastname@example.org.
