Carolina Productions presents The Lion King

Thursday, March 21, Carolina Productions will be showing the classic Disney film The Lion King for Throwback Thursday. The movie will play at both 6pm and 9pm in the Russell House Theater, and free popcorn and drinks will be provided. (Note that popcorn and drinks are available on a first come, first served basis.)

Carolina Productions presents Flight and Lincoln

Friday, March 22 through Sunday, March 24, Carolina Productions will be showing Flight at 6 pm and Lincoln at 9pm in the Russell House Theater. Flight (starring Oscar nominee Denzel Washington) is the story of an airline pilot who saves a plane from crashing, but further investigation into the incident reveals troubling information. Lincoln (starring Oscar winner for best actor Daniel-Day Lewis and Oscar nominee Sally Field) focuses in on President’s Lincoln’s struggle to emancipate slaves and end the Civil War.

BGLSA and Carolina Productions present The Birdcage

Tuesday, March 19, head on over to the Russell House Ballroom at 8 pm for the Birdcage! This fierce, annual drag show is filled with lively, memorable entertainment while raising awareness of members of the LGBT community. Our headliner this year is the stunning Ms. Dorae Saunders of America’s Got Talent Season 3!

Carolina Productions presents Spoken Word Wednesday

Wednesday, March 20 is Spoken Word Wednesday! Come out to hear USC students perform some of their original works along with our featured guest, Gina Loring! The event will take place in the Russell House Theater at 8 pm. Stop by the Russell House Patio from 11 am to 1:45 pm to do graffiti and have your artwork displayed at the show!

Want to help plan and organize some of the biggest events on campus? Want to be a part of what goes on behind the scenes? Then you should join Carolina Productions! Come out to Russell House 302 at 7 pm on March 21 to hear about each of the five committees and find out what it takes to be a part of something big!

Poetry Slam Applications

Do you or someone you know thrive off of expressing yourself through poetry? If you answered yes, you should pick up an application for the poetry slam competition in Russell House 227or at! On Friday, March 22, applications will be due to the Campus Life Center, Russell House 227, by 4 pm. The competition will take place April 10 at 8 pm in the Russell House Theater.
