Changing Carolina Peer Leaders is a diverse group of undergraduate students who combine their specialized training and passion for health education and wellness, with a desire to make a difference on campus. Peers cover topics such as physical activity, nutrition, body image, stress management, sexual health, sexual assault and interpersonal violence.
Peer Leaders are also involved with planning campus-wide programs and events such as De-Stress Fest, Get Yourself Tested, Annual 5K, Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Carolina Beautiful, Project Condom, and more! As a member, peers are strong leaders on campus. They learn a variety of experiences and skills that promote growth and development in becoming an inspiring and distinguished individual.
Students interested in becoming a Changing Carolina Peer Leader can apply to the program during the fall semester and complete a 3-credit hour Health Promotion, Education & Behavior course during the spring semester of 2014 to receive training as a USC Peer Leader.
Applications are available online NOW until October 11th
