This semester the Festival Planning Class is holding a fundraiser event called the “Arts for the ARC,” benefiting the Assessment and Resource Center (ARC) of Richland County. This non-profit organization provides medical support, forensic interviews, and litigation support for children whom have been physically or sexually abused.
Our class of 65+ event planning students graciously invite the Office of the Provost and all USC faculty leaders to join us for this event.
Arts for the ARC will be held at the Tapp’s Art Center (1644 Main Street, Columbia, SC 29201) on Thursday, November 21, from 5pm until 9pm. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students/military/seniors, and $35 for a family 4-pack (2 adults, 2 children < 18) and children under 5 years old are free. There will be live entertainment, tons of activities for kids (including art therapy, face painting, marionette puppetry, cupcake decorating, + more), a cash bar, food, silent auction, and so much more. The more people that go the more success of this program, so we hope you encourage everyone in your network to come for the support and fun.
Please invite all faculty and students to come out to support the HRSM students and Mrs. Annette Hoover’s festival planning class, as well as this worthwhile organization. It will be a fun time.
