The Provost’s Advisory Committee on Women’s Issues and the Women’s Faculty Organization will host the panel discussion “Mentoring and Career Advancement” on Wednesday, Dec. 18. The discussion will be 9 – 11 a.m. in the Career Center classroom 602B in the BA Building.
Panelists include Dr. Claudia Benitez-Nelson, Earth & Ocean Sciences; Stephanie Duncan, State Budget & Control Board; Dr. Dianne Johnson, English; Dr. Kirsten Kennedy, University Housing; and Dr. Melissa Moss, Chemical Engineering.
Panelists will discuss the impact of mentors on their careers and take audience questions. Following the panel there will be three breakout discussion groups:
- Navigating the tenure process
- Promotion to full Professor
- Advancement for Administrators and Staff
