Nominations are due Friday, Jan. 31 for the Student Employee of the Year Award, which honors a student who has demonstrated exceptional skills in his or her field of work. The award will be judged on the following criteria: reliability, quality of work, initiative, professionalism, and uniqueness of contribution.
All currently enrolled undergraduate student employees at the University of South Carolina are eligible for this award. Students may be participants in the Federal Work Study Program or non-Federal Work Study Program. All nominees must have been on the payroll during the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2013. The nominee must be in good academic and judicial standing and must have worked for at least two semesters. Supervisors may nominate more than one student.
