Central office changes to better support division, students

The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs is excited to announce a number of changes that will help us better support the division and our students.

First, we will be dedicating Lisa Jerald more exclusively to student case management. Lisa is an institutional resource, and she now will be able to devote more time to meet the needs of our students, parents, staff, faculty and other constituents. We will be hiring an administrative coordinator to assume many of the administrative functions Lisa currently performs in support of our central office.

We also are promoting Michelle Bridge to finance director for our division, expanding on her talents and mortgage banking background to further assist our budgeting, financial management, training and financial analysis efforts across the division.

In conjunction with Michelle’s promotion, we will be hiring a division HR director to shift our focus from transactional to strategic in the HR arena. The new Student Affairs and Academic Support HR director will partner closely with the university’s Division of Human Resources to enhance our recruitment, interviewing, selection, onboarding, training, recognition, career planning, succession planning and HR data analytics efforts.

Please congratulate Lisa and Michelle on these exciting changes and look forward to a greater level of support from our central office!
