This peer leader program exists to educate the campus and community on LGBTQ issues, serve as ambassadors and representatives of the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, and act as peer mentors, educators, and leaders within the LGBTQ community at the University of South Carolina. The Peer Advocates are trained to facilitate dialogue that challenges ideas about the LGBTQ community and promotes awareness about gender and sexual minorities. These students invite Carolinians to promote social change through knowledge, understanding and critical reflection in order to create a more inclusive Carolina.
The applications can be found here and are due Friday, Feb. 21. If you have any questions, please contact email@example.com.
