USC’s student-run radio station, WUSC-FM, is asking for votes in its pursuit of a No. 1 finish in the mtvU College Radio Woodie contest opening Wednesday.
The station, which finished in the top 25 but did not make the top 10 in 2013, has made this year’s top 10.
Votes can be cast at bit.ly/voteforwusc until 6 p.m. Thursday, March 6. Those who take a screenshot of their vote and post to Twitter with #VoteForWUSC will be entered to win a prize pack. Multiple votes can be cast.
WUSC has previously been nationally recognized by Rolling Stone as the only reason to come to USC. The station also hosted a segment of mtvU’s College Radio Countdown broadcast Sept. 15 on TV and online.
The mtvU Woodie Awards will take place March 16 at South By Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas.
