Applications now available to become a Magellan Ambassador

The Office of Undergraduate Research is seeking undergraduate researchers to serve as Magellan Ambassadors for the 2014-2015 academic year. Ambassadors are responsible for representing the Office of Undergraduate Research at various functions and events including Discovery Day and Admissions events; and giving presentations to University 101 classes, student organizations, and other campus-partners on how to become involved in undergraduate research.

Any undergraduate researcher may apply to be an Ambassador, regardless of academic year or major. Ambassadors will be selected on the basis of their application and an interview. In addition to enthusiasm and strong communication skills, we are looking for a diversity of majors including the fine and performing arts, humanities, and social sciences.
