Pre-Professional Advising is hosting a farewell reception for Assistant Director Sydney Botelho Tuesday, April 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. in 208 Sumwalt College.  Sydney is moving with her soon-to-be-husband, who has accepted an ophthalmology residency in Houston.  Please come by for some refreshments and fellowship.

Alicia Bervine begins her role today as director of human resources for the Division of Student Affairs and Academic Support. Alicia comes to the central office from the Career Center, where she most recently served as a career development coach for arts and sciences majors.

Kirsten Kennedy, University Housing, co-presented “Student Learning Imperative: More imperative today than 20 years ago” at the ACPA College Student Educators International Convention in Indianapolis.

Jennifer R. Keup and Dallin George Young, both of the National Resource Center for The First-Year Experience and Students in Transition, presented “The Power of Peers: Exploring the Impact of Peer Leadership Experiences” at the ACPA College Student Educators International Convention in Indianapolis.
