Engaged volunteer advisors, working in partnership with the Fraternity and Sorority Life staff and national headquarters, are essential to enhancing the fraternal experience of all our undergraduate members. Their valued guidance is vital for chapters to continuously improve.
Faculty advisors provide a vital link between the students and faculty, and thus their relationship often can bridge the gap between classroom and out of classroom activities. University faculty members support chapters by offering advice, expertise, and perspective on issues that chapters are facing. Faculty advisors may work with individual members as well. Previous experience in a fraternity or sorority is helpful but not necessary.
Each of our 41 fraternities/sororities at Carolina must have a faculty advisor. To get involved, find more information regarding Faculty Advisor eligibility, additional resources and the interest form, please visit the website.
