Eric Moschella, director of the Student Success Center, Michael Dial, coordinator of the Student Success Center, James Winfield, coordinator of the Student Success Center and Jane Bouknight, Assistant Director of the University Advising Center, presented “Connecting Students to Success: A Comprehensive Approach to Student Retention” at the National Symposium on Student Retention in Orlando, Florida.

James Winfield will become the new assistant director for faculty development and curriculum in University 101 Programs. James joins University 101 from the Student Success Center, where he served as the coordinator for outreach and success connect.

Janelle Gadson-Sheppard and Joey Derrick presented on “Using UC4 job scheduling to gain valuable efficiencies in the aid process” on Nov. 15, 2015 at the 2015 CoHEsion Summit in Charleston, SC.

Dr. James C. Smallwood, who has two children who are alums of the university, joined the Women’s Care team in the Thomson Student Health Center in October.
