Ryan Lloyd and Hilary Lichterman, University Housing, presented “From Elusive to Tangible: Mapping and Inventorying Student Learning,” at the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International Annual Conference and Exposition in Seattle.
University 101 Programs welcomes two new staff members:
Mike Dial will join the office as assistant director for peer leadership. Dial previously served as the Student Success Center’s coordinator for early intervention. He earned his master’s in higher education and student affairs from UofSC.
Carrie (Linder) Van Haren will be assuming the newly redesigned role of assistant director for curriculum and assessment. Van Haren most recently served as the senior assessment associate in the Office of Institutional Research. Previously, she was the assistant director of University 101 and the coordinator of research and project development for the National Resource Center for The First-Year Experience and Students in Transition.
