International Education Week (IEW) is November 14-18, 2016

This year, International Education Week (IEW) is November 14-18, 2016. Global Carolina and on-campus partners coordinate this week of events to promote international and cross-cultural exchange, recognize USC’s global community, and encourage dialogue among students, faculty, and staff.

The calendar of activities includes the Annual Greene Street International Bazaar, a lecture about images and stereotyping of Muslims and Arabs in popular culture with Dr. Jack Shaheen, a World Cup soccer tournament, and more. For ideas and resources for your classroom, see the faculty toolkit on the IEW website.

International Education Week contributes significantly to the university’s goal of internationalization and global exchange. This week corresponds with the joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Education.
